Not too long ago, I came into a shared possession of one of the more interesting (train-wreck interesting) books of our time: Going Rogue: An American Life.
Now, Sarah Palin has certainly become a very interesting character so the opportunity to do more with this book than simply read it and pass it on can't be passed up. Pardon me while I pass gas. Okay, that's done with. I'm taking a cue from a very interesting writer (brain-improving interesting) who's doing a ongoing review of the Left Behind series, at slacktivist.typepad.com I recommend stopping by the site and reading his stuff. Very neat to read 'blog.
Anyhow, as I read through the this American Life of hers (sorry Ira) I will do my best to keep a running commentary observations and other notes as I go along. I don't have a rigid structure as to how many pages or chapters or sections will be included in each post, but I'll try not to go too overboard in quantity. After all, after reading just the first section of the first chapter my brain is already trying to wrap itself around the odd combinations of voice, narrator, location and all those other things that make books books. Also, I'm not a literature-y person so I'll be making stuff up. Like, a lot of stuff. So pardon my jargon, it's going to be weird.
Without further ado, I give you Sarah Palin's wonderland.
