Beer and postcards for Obama!
Attention friends! This week, on thursday and friday there will be a beer and postcard writing blowout at the Democratic headquarters here in Fairbanks. Since Saturday is the last day to mail out postcards to voters in other states, the Obama campaign here in Fairbanks is going to try and get as many written as possible to send out. To encourage people to come and help, there will be (in addition to postcards) beer, root beer and possibly some food. If you would like to bring your own food/beverage/postcards, you are welcome and strongly encouraged to do so. Writing postcards is a great way to affect an election, especially those of us here in Alaska who can feel a little disenfranchised with our state's usual electoral leaning. So come and make a difference!

Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of October: Starting at 5pm, going until people leave.
Where: Fairbanks Democratic HQ, 3352? College Road (It's the big arch-roofed building next to Pad Thai and Beaver Sports).
