Following on from
ganimede Nathaniel's voice meme the other day I have done one too, as my accent is a glorious mix of hybrids and locations. I am horribly self-conscious about listening to myself - I blame those French lessons where you had to record it and listen back to your answers. Eugh. However I think I sound much better now than I used to. I have lived in 17 different places in my 23 years and a week and a half, mostly England, but also Scotland, the Falkland Islands and Germany. Not counting any holidays to Europe. So do tell me what you think. Hah!
I've just listened back to it all to check for any issues etc and at the very end I've noticed that "dreadful mongrel" sounds hilariously posh. Whoops.
