This post will eventually get to Brundibar.

But first. CALIFORNIA, WTF. People need to live and let live. Stop fighting with people who are in loving reslationships that JUST want to spend their lives together. SERIOUSLY.

And also, there was some serious Obama excitement, but people didn't stay up to watch it all. I was mildly surprised that I was one of few that saw the speeches live.

And...Brundibar. This opening night did not fill me with good feeling, joy, and pleasant exhaustion. I nearly broke down at the beginning of call. I did the only thing I knew to do and threw all of the emotion welling up inside into my work. This meaning I screamed myself horse during our energy exercise. The good thing is that this was the best performance the cast has given. The bad news is that it STILL wasn't very good. The other bad news is my deck crew walked out during the talkback with Halocaust survior and child of a survivor -- this left the sound operator to do her job after we finished.

Four days left.
