Yeah... All of that (and whatever I get assigned through Wednesday is due this week. Plus Brundibar rehearsals, which don't take up that much time, but are draining all the same.
And I've finally made my decision about NaNoWriMo. I can't.
I feel like I need to explain this. I really would like to, but I'm already getting stress piled on. I have a lot of work to do and even though Brundibar and Dorney Park are finish by November 5 -- well, Brundibar ends Nov. 9, the point still stands -- I am going to have Romeo and Juliet costumes to work on, the normal homework load of an LVPA theatre major, college stuff to do, and more, and I just don't know if it's wise to take on a monster like NaNoWriMo. I asked my boyfriend for advice, and he said no. He is probably frightened of what my behaviour might be if I had to write 50k in 30 days on top of everything else. And he's right. I really shouldn't do it. Not this year. And probably not next year, either. But sometime, I will do it. I have decided that in honour of it, I will write more original material than I usually do. Hopefully, I can create one or two short stories or something.
And speaking of writing, I read some poetry from a magazine called The Sun, and I adore it. It is by Chris Bursk, called "In With The New, Out With The Old." Unfortunately, it isn't online, but if you can get a copy, I suggest you read it.
michaela0823, I think you would simply adore it.
