I had a great 24 hours, guys.
We got a buttload of fabric for Skriker; made some production decisions; talked about our glorious show; ate sushi, sashimi, bagels, and Falaffas (sp?). And can you believe...the play we saw...Samuel Beckett...."Happy Days"......starred....(I almost died when I saw the poster with her face and name....) ...FIONA SHAW!!!!! *scream* And she was so wonderful too!!! Duh. I mean, the play was almost a one-woman show, a huge monolgue, and she was physically stuck in a hole, first to the waist, then to the neck, and yet, she kept the audience so engaged and captivated that 1h40m passed in what felt like twenty minutes! I couldn't believe it was over when it was, but GOD, she was so fantastic. Her vocal variety was just incredible and at no moment did I even wish she was unstuck so she could make interesting choices; she managed to be captivating in body, even when we could only see her face! Anyway, this was the last show, but I want to go back to BAM to see Macbeth next month! (I don't know how I'd get there, but I want to go!!)
I miss my friends. It feels like it's been a very long time since I've seen them, when in fact is has only been two days, and I spent time with other friends this weekend. Huh. But tomorrow is Sunday, meaning no school still. I'll hopefully be meeting someone to talk about babysitting jobs, but one of her twins might be sick, and if so, we'll hae to reschedule.
And I have so much energy now, I'm thinking that sour patch kids and a mocha alert cappachino from Wawa wasn't a good idea. Lolle.
