can anyone help me? I can't recall the name of this movie- a man framed for a crime, went to seek answers from a supposed friend of his. took the guy's blind mother and wife hostage. the guy eventually returns and consequently reveals that he was the real culprit and not the man. he then unknowingly drank the wine that his blind mother had poisoned in order to poison the man and died.
a recurring scene of the movie is the blind mother having monologues in front of a makeshift altar that holds the seven lucky gods of Japan. the family is of Asian origin.
