Nah, when you have two kids under five you have to stay at home in case the house burns down. Especially if they are in bed at seven pee em.
And in Blighty, it's knocking on doors: though I do understand how some prepositions are so difficult. But folk over here omit pronouns rather than propositions as a matter of style.
And what a po-faced, ungenerous, and unimaginative response from the tweeter, though quoting it is almost as good. Well done. :)
I find it odd that the crazy high amount going toward 'defense' (at least compared to SNAP and welfare) wasn't circled in addition to the corporate subsidies part.
Unfortunately, the $4000 figure seems to be a bit inflated by some fuzzy reasoning. A good chunk of it consists of the "premium" implicit in drug prices due to the grant of patent protection. Another good chunk comes from tax breaks and tax revenue lost to offshore tax structuring. On the former, conservatives are notorious for pretending that tax breaks don't really cost us anything, and on the latter, we're not really talking about revenue that was really "ours" in the first place

...the FEMA founds piss people off too when they go to minorities, and the disability and unemployment funds when they go to 'lazy' people.
