Sen. Ted Cruz apparently has crossed the very thin line separating politics from pop culture, and he’s not happy with the reference to him and Republicans on HBO’s True Blood.
Spoiler alert: Sunday’s episode included a scene with vampire characters Eric and Pam (pictured above) attending a Ted Cruz fundraiser set at the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas. The yakuza were there, lots of blood was spilled, and Pam utters a line using a word that combines “Republican” with a vulgar epithet for female genitalia.
The senator from Texas responded Tuesday on Facebook about what he called the “misogynist and profanity-ridden episode.”
Cruz’s final word: “Well, I’m sorry to have lost the vampire vote, but am astonished (and amused) that HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends … ”
LOL at this white male misogynist republicunt for his unwillingness to acknowledge anything other than a fictitious minority group...
