All we need is for it start raining frogs, and to have the locusts swarm, and the waters to turn bloody. The world is cratering. I think I hear the trumpets!

I just watched "War of the Worlds", the Tom Cruise movie that is now airing on cable. I say, "Bring it!"

I would have loved to re-write the dialog for that film since those were the most annoying damn kids ever.

I keep looking for a media update on this story, because Saturday was supposed to be bigger. I cant find anything. I guess even Friday's 30 trucks went home.

Earlier this week, local Fox news programs in Washington were breathlessly covering the coming truck-apocalypse like flies on shit.

Why am I not surprised to see the geniuses are demanding that Obama resign and crying that their wages aren't high enough. It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that the Repugs care about truckers having a living wage. Or any one else's who isn't a fat cat already.

I'm sure the low wages are somehow the government's fault. The government must be doing something to distort the market, because otherwise the free market would somehow provide everything they could imagine they wanted.

I'm sure the Keystone pipeline is part of their "high cost of fuel" complaint. If more oil were being shipped internationally, the prices for fuel in the U.S. would somehow decline!

What is the conservative fixation on Keystone about anyway?
