"Charity" and "not rich people" are not the same thing. Especially when it comes to the Mormon church and tithing.

When it comes to the largest amounts of money given by the top donors, the recipient organizations tend to be universities, museums, and art groups. And Romney's name doesn't even come up in a search at this list.

And remember, we're only seeing the tax years that Romney's decided are safe to show us. His charitable giving in other years might be more like other affluent people who live in high income enclaves. But we don't know, because he won't tell us.

One theory is that he is not releasing his tax forms because he hasn't tithed enough and the mormon authority would find out.
