My advice: get a PhD and teach at the University level. Over the last few years, newly hired women at Universities across the nation are making statistically more than their male counterparts. Essentially, many departments are attempting to "even out" their numbers, and most traditionally male departments are spending more on women in order to attract and retain them.
As a male in a Business PhD program, I can say that the anecdotal evidence in Business lies heavily in favor of women right now. They get the better interviews, and they get the higher salaries.
Granted, this is all because they are trying to make up for years of discrimination and marginalization.....

WTF is all that bullshit? The statistic is that women are paid less than men for the exact same jobs. I'd produce links to back that up but you'd just laugh at them so I won't bother.

If that's the case, then why does anyone hire men at all? If I were an evil capitalist I'd want to fire all the men and replace them with women so I could save 25% in labor costs.
Or it might be the case that there are good reasons why women are paid less than men for the "exact same jobs."

Of course not, that statement is utterly ludicrous, firstly in the "only possible" and then the lumping of "any and all pay gaps".
Is 2 the only possible explanation for 1 + 1? Of course not (it could for instance be 0,1,2 or 10).
Is sexism the most likely explanation for pay gaps between males and females in the same role, each with the same qualifications and experience? Yes.
The classic argument is of course labourers and males being stronger, this of course ignores the lack of jobs nowadays where pure physical strength is of necessity and not offloaded to labour aiding devices, and also the ability to do jobs equally but in different ways. Also you have to take in to account which women do these labour intensive male dominated roles. Well they're likely to be the ones that can hold there own against their male counterparts.

Bullshit Bullshit. Bullshit.
Almost all (good) gender-pay studies compare pay for the SAME degree, not being so dumb as thinking that having different degrees all have the same financial value. There have also been numerous studies which have accounted for the marriage/child-rearing and still found pay disparity. Either these people did biased studies or did no studies and these are just opinions/hypotheses.

"As the report acknowledges, women with college degrees tend to go into fields like education, psychology and the humanities, which typically pay less than the sectors preferred by men, such as engineering, math and business." - That's quite clearly accounting for having a degree, not the type of it.
Yeah, cos I bookmarked all the dozens of studies I've read over the past number of years. Rofl.
