so killing a few hundred thousand brown people because they worship the same imaginary friend using a different book and have bad taste in leaders doesn't qualify?

Oh, I'm not saying Bush wasn't a huge douchebag. I'm not even saying he wasn't evil. But it seems to me that anytime nowadays that someone disagrees with a political leader, they want to equate them with Hitler. It kind of cheapens the level of evil that Hitler inflicted upon the world to compare any political leader one disagrees with to him.

Whatever other reason he had for it, "being muslim or brown" was not Bush's reason for starting the war. I don't like him any more than you do, but I do not believe those were his reasons.

Yeah..... that's because Afghanistan is where the people responsible for 9/11 are. Apparently Bush's ADD made him forget that that's why we were over there.

Most of them were. However, Al Qaeda was in Afghanistan, and most of the leadership probably still is. And as the Taliban is gaining strength there again, if they regain control you can bet Al Qaeda will set up shop there again out in the open with the Taliban's blessing and protection.
