(no subject)
I told Ryan I was going to post, and he thought I was kidding, so in my general spirit of contrariness, I'm going to.
Today was amazing. I got to sleep in pretty late, got a lot of work done, and then Ryan and I went for a hike in Montana de Oro. We went down to the beach, and then decided to go for a swim -- despite not bringing suits or towels and the fact that the water was freezing. I've never run around in public in my underwear before, but we had a lot of fun swimming in the freezing water and then we had a nice hike back. After the kind of shower that returns your blood circulation, we went out to dinner at a place where we've discovered really good clam chowder. I still have more work to do, but I'm feeling completely refreshed and ready to get back to work... although that doesn't mean I'm not still terrified about graduation. But I can't wait to see my family, my dad and stepmom still haven't ever really seen SLO (I'll ignore for the moment the irony of the fact that they're finally going to see it just as I'm leaving), and there's a great hike right by my house that I want to do with my mom and sister. It's been a good day =)
