River: .... Well. Long ago he did ask Wash a bit about River. Wash didn't go into any details, but there was enough there that Wellard rather thinks she was tortured. Which... close enough, really. So, her not being all-that-sane is understandable. He doesn't think she's insane, if you can see the difference there. Just that she needs a bit more care and thought on his part, which he does his best when they talk. (I do love how she makes him think over exactly what both she's said and he himself has said.)
He does rather think of her as... delicate, which is usually emphasised by how she moves. I think his head will explode if/when he ever sees her fight. >_Piotr: OMG someone normal. Who's been through- well, not the EXACT SAME THING, but close enough. (How often does someone die and then come back? Marvel, don't answer that.) Even with all of that, it helps even more that Piotr is... normal. Normal, sane, unmagical, human- and dealing with it all as well. (And honestly, I don't think adding 'mutant' to the mix is going to change

I think his head will explode if/when he ever sees her fight. >_<
Clearly this should happen! Because I am good and kind and polite to your characters and mine always.
Awwwww, Wellard, though. *hugs him* (And the not-all-that-sane vs insane distinction does definitely make sense.)
For River's attitude towards Wellard... hmm. I think she likes him. I think, in some ways, she sees him as -- delicate is the wrong word, although it would amuse me to be able to use it. But there are some people she thinks can handle learning about the weapon side of her without blinking (especially the ones who pick up on the very subtle clues to it), and some people she... is not that sure of. Which doesn't mean she actively works to hide it from him or anything like that, and if she had reason to be that around him she wouldn't hesitate, but I think she's not sure he'd take it well. So she's a little amused by his perception of her as a delicate girl who needs protection, since it hasn't come up in any annoying way so far, but she doesn't

Wellard: *facePALM* *snicker* He'd prolly be able to deal with it! Just... well. River being able to fight will cause a lot more surprise and taken-aback-ness than Piotr going all metal. Which is very amusing. Milliways has taught Wellard to be able to adapt to new situations and facts quickly.
Newer: Wellard about River, and Wellard about Piotr.
:D?
