OOM: Room 75

For the most part, he has been following the advice given to him by Mary and Merriman. Thus- Wellard has been up in his room (with the occasional foray down to the bar for food he does not eat much of), resting. Not sleeping- or at least that has not gone well, but he still has a couple books that he had gotten a while ago that have not been read

Sharpe waited in the bar to see if Wellard would come down, mindful of the job Jason gave him.

When he didn't, he came upstairs looking. He knocks at the door, now.

A long pause, before a muffled, "yes?"

If Mary has come up to scold him again, well.

It's not Mary. As becomes clear when Sharpe calls through the door, "Can I come in, lad?"

A few more moments, and soon the door opens. "Mr Sharpe, sir." Wellard blinks.

"... Of course. Is something the matter?"

Sharpe has most likely seen his share of soldiers that came down with illness or infection that they never quite ever fully recovered from- though usually they were sent back from the front lines as soon as they were well enough to do so. Wellard would fit into that category, at the moment.
