【 十八 】 zombies, zombies e v e r y w h e r e

[ Japan was planning to sit there and stay out of trouble initially, and whatever is it that caused him to change his mind, it mattered little now- so much of staying out of battle in general and not getting involved in fights anymore... but, he figures- this does not count as a war, and there's nothing political about this. And it's not like this is an issue that can be resolved with a method that isn't battle. So, indeed, it can't be helped. There were a few things he wasn't quite expecting to happen, however- and more than that, hasn't even considered the possibility for.

A. It's Monday, and Japan is out on the streets- looking for the people he knows, but equipped with a gun and a sword as backup. Still, hear those sounds of stabbing and cutting of limbs and a second later brains getting blown out that seem to be coming out of seemingly nowhere? That's because Japan, being the stealthy ninja he is, makes sure to hide himself as much as he can, but it seems a few drone zombies has spotted him occasionally, and his reaction is generally quick enough. He doesn't come out of hiding unless he's completley sure that he's safe and there's not a zombie in sight wherever he is- but if you approach him directly in his slightly paranoid state, if it's from the side or the back, where he can't see you, he will immedeatly react by turning around and pointing a gun at you- but not firing it. Those instincts, man.

B. Later that day, near late afternoon, Japan discovers himself to be much less fortunate. Whatever happened during the day, it left Japan hiding behind a home in some random street, leaning against a wall and rubbing at his collarbone in a bit of a strange-looking way- then he removes his hand to reveal there what cannot be mistaken for anything but a bite mark. Evidently, someone took him by surprise. His reaction to that? Simply to sigh in a little bit of frustration. ]

How inconvenient.

[ It's Tuesday, and things have become much less pleasant for him, and even more inconvenient. By that day, Japan is fully transformed, infected and no longer human- and while a small part of his normal rationality remains, it's merely a scrap, a shred that's barely there. The virus resulted this man to stay himself- but fully accept the role of a flesh-eating monster at the same time. It simply warped his mind so perfectly as to make him forget anything other than his overwhelming hunger for flesh and made him see it as perfectly natural. Meaning he makes no distinction between his friends, family, the people he cares for, children- people he normally wouldn't dare harm unless under very rare circumstances- and other people.

C. And so, you find yourself just walking around, minding your own business, doing whatever you're doing- but in a position when you're alone and it's quiet. A little too quiet at first. And you could have sworn that someone's following you, that someone's watching- you hear some light footsteps, but there's nobody there no matter how hard and where you look. Then, a moment later- a man walks out and stands right in front of you, to face you, at at one glance it's immediately obvious that "man" is not a very fitting term as he's already a zombie. Strange, perhaps, but Japan is not someone who would attack from behind, after all, even if he considered that jumping from behind would be much more successful, but he's still Japan- his pride and strong sense of honor remain. Clutching a sword in his hand, yet his position is not of one preparing to attack, and making direct eye contact with whoever he meets- to anyone who knows Japan, he is nearly completley unrecognizable, and so is the expression on his face. ]

If you do not struggle nor resist and come quietly, there will be no need to fight. I would like to avoid unnecessary conflict. Furthermore, I will make sure to make it as least painful as possible. [ saying this even though we're talking about eating flesh here.... ] I am giving you a chance. Do as you wish. But I will be forced not to show any mercy should you take the option of resistance. [ a pause, and a slight tilt of the head ] That is all.

[ OOC NOTE! Regarding option c: Should your character chose to just let him eat them (sob...) after all and not resist, he will do as he said and try to be merciful while... eating their flesh... yep... if they don't- feel free to attack him or do whatever, and injure him as much as you want! Just contact me/ask me before killing him since I want to plan it out first and he's actually likely to eventually ask someone to mercykill him- and keep in mind that he's a lot more resillient than normal, being a zombie and all...  however, I will also require your permissions to let him do stuff to your characters! So, please state somewhere in your tag whether you're alright with him killing, injuring, attacking, biting/infecting, or eating any of your characters; I will make sure not to have him do anything I haven't recieved permission for! ]
