"I'm fine Mr. Japan. I've been tending to the store during the chaos. Are you all right?"

[ He looks relieved. He'd hate for more little girls to get mixed up on this; Xion seeing his disemboweled corpse was bad enough. ]

Thank you very much. It's highly appreciated. Ah, and I'm perfectly well, yes.

"I'm trying to be a good employee. Or at least get promoted past trainee. Would you like to come in for some tea?"

There is nothing wrong with Hoshino-san's performance at work-- ah, tea, is it... I think I wouldn't mind that at all. And I can make some time for it...

"Please come in then. Everyone here is a drone now so... Just don't open the basement door."

[She bows and steps aside to let Japan inside]

[ He makes his way in politely, idly wondering what's wrong with the basement door but saying nothing. ] Thank you very much.

[Ruri leads him to the kitchen, gets a nice mug and pours him some tea, its English Breakfast, since that's about all you can GET in the midwest normally]

"I think the murder fest is over at least. Sugar or cream?"

Murder fest, is it... [ he chuckles slightly ] Neither, please.

"Well it was. Apparently the town was having people kill each other for sport. I don't know, it was smart enough to leave me out of it cause I'm not good at sports."

[politerudeness]

[ beat ] They aren't my strong point, either...

"Are you all right at least then?"

[politerudeness]

Of course. Please do not worry.

"You are my superior and you helped me make that nice kimono. Some day I'd like to ask how to make more, but you're probably very busy."

I am sure I will be able to make time for such a thing someday. I will merely have to check my schedule first...

"I miss the Japanese clothes I had from home. Much more dignified than the ones here."

I cannot say how much I agree. All I have is one kimono...
