[ Japan knows well that the filters don't work- which is exactly while he's setting them up anyway. Can't let them suspect that he's aware that he's being listened to now, can he? Which is why, in a way, some of the things he's going to say are actually directed at whoever it is that's listening- at Mayfield itself, perhaps. ]
Hm... I think I will have to agree with many that for a joke, it may have been perhaps going a bit too far. ...If I could be a little blunt, I must say that it was a bit tasteless and rather cruel. And speaking of which... was the droning of so many of my family members intended to be an April Fool's joke, as well? I wonder if perhaps that could be the reason her droning occurred today- ...
... Ah, forgive me, it seems that I am rambling. Please disregard that. Perhaps an old man such as myself simply cannot understand their sense of humor. Anyways, did anyone else receive the chance to speak to Lucy-san? If anyone could tell me, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you. ...That is all.
B 【 ➡ ACTION; LATE MORNING/EARLY AFTERNOON 】
[ At the cosplay cafe, the weather being much warmer, a lot of the chairs and tables have been placed outside on the front yard today, though of course a lot still remain inside. Those who work at the cafe might notice that there's someone missing today. Those who frequent it, too, depending on how much, will take note that one of the regular waitresses- Taiwan, that is- isn't present, which may or may not be odd depending on how you look at it. You might also take notice of the fact that, today, a good deal of the waitresses seem to be wearing school uniforms- which seems to be the costume theme for April. Or the cherry blossom-related decorations everywhere.
But regardless, Japan is completley quiet about Taiwan's absence, and proceeded to open the cafe regularly this morning, without even a casual mention or a subtle hint on it- and for that matter, Japan himself can't be found at his usual positions of sweeping the floor with a broom at the entrance nor the counter, or even at one of the tables with his laptop looking at cute girls in exposing outfits and/or porn. Well, he is sitting- but somewhere at a small table very deep in the corner of the cafe, so much that you'll really have to take a good look around to find him or even notice him. There's a notebook on the table itself, the contents of which are all written in Japanese- in very small letters, by the way. He's obviously very deep in thought and concentration, and seems to be in the middle of writing something in it- tapping the table with his pencil occasionally, but just as always it's impossible to tell just what he's thinking so much about. ]
C 【 ➡ ACTION; EVENING 】
[ Later in the evening, when the cafe has closed for the day, Japan can be found in the backyard of his home- where there is now a pretty huge cherry tree in it, which probably explains where all these petals everywhere are coming from. Japan is sitting on a bench he set up under it, dressed in a dark blue kimono instead of the usual suit Mayfield provides him with, and just staring and watching the blossoms in complete silence. Achilles the cat is napping next to him on the bench, and he strokes its fur a gently if absentmindedly. ]
