Well, it's something like this...I'm from Gensokyo, which was formerly a haunted region of Japan. It was sealed off from the rest of the world in the late nineteenth century by a family called the Hakurei clan. Now it's something of its own country, and it's mainly populated by youkai, with a decent human population as well.
