I think that was just fine, as introductions go.

So you're the country of Japan?

It would be most disgraceful of me if I were to introduce myself improperly.

Yes, that is correct.

I see. I'm still trying to get used to the fact that countries live here.

I am Rinnosuke Morichika.

...There seem to be many who are not aware of our existence in this town. [ can you tell that he finds this just a little, slightly disturbing. he's not very used to it lmao. ]

It is a pleasure, Morichika-san. Please correct me if I am mistaken, but if you are one of my citizens, know that what I had said applies to you as well.

Many of us seem to be from vastly different places. I'm sure we'll all come to learn about one another in time.

Ah, yes, about that...I guess I am one of your citizens, but at the same time I'm not. It may be a little difficult to explain...

It is truly odd. A few days ago I had come across a person whom I was entirely sure only existed within the realm of fiction.

Do explain. Regardless of difficulty, I shall to my best to understand.

Really? That is odd.

Well, it's something like this...I'm from Gensokyo, which was formerly a haunted region of Japan. It was sealed off from the rest of the world in the late nineteenth century by a family called the Hakurei clan. Now it's something of its own country, and it's mainly populated by youkai, with a decent human population as well.

Yes. It is.

...Ah. I understand. I must say that is quite interesting. [ translation: that sounds like the premise of an anime/manga/light novel/shooter game! awesome. ] Then... in a situation such as this... I believe it is up to you to chose whether or not you consider yourself one of my citizens.

I understand. Though I certainly wouldn't say no to your invitation to your place for tea sometime, if it isn't too much trouble for you.

It is of no trouble at all. You are welcome at all times.
