yesterday i went to a ribfest, and on the way there i saw a very 1960's VW van. it was yellow with a million flowers on it... it made me smile when it passed by. there should be more of those around. haha. anyways the ribfest was nice... good food. it felt nice to be in something like that- it was a change of scenery.
went home to watch the rest of what was left of the FIFA World Cup soccer game and well even though i don't know anything about soccer i wanted France to win... and they didn't. everyone who was watching with me was rooting for Italy and i was the only one rooting for France. There, there France... you still have your Eiffel Tower, art, food, architecture, lights, love, and so much more!
after that, we went to go watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. i must say that it was a very good movie, but very long. it has a cliff-hanger in the end and now i'm going nuts wanting to see the next one.
when we came out of the movie theatre, the moon was out and painted orange. it was beautiful. it's not everyday you see the moon like that. it was beautiful.
