That's a good idea. Leaving people behind without telling them something seems so cold, like when Molly left. And Xavin left the first time. I woke up expecting them there and they weren't.

For a minute, I almost thought they didn't care but I knew that was wrong.

Because even though you know they didn't really have a choice, it still feels like they left without saying anything, right?

Right. Even when I ended up doing it myself, I couldn't stop wondering if everybody else though I just left without caring that I was leaving. I think if you left them something ahead of time, just in case, at least then they'll know.

Or at least have something to remember you by.

I think I'll start making something now, just in case, you know? Something especially for Gert and Xavin.

I think I'm going to have to force everybody I know to take pictures with me.

You won't have to force me.

Good! We actually don't own a camera somehow, so that's first on the list.

We don't either. Or a vacuum. I think we spent all our money on movies and video games.

I guess that's what happens when you leave teenagers in charge of themselves.
