[to those that are listening in on Pokéconnect, this feed starts with a flash of video--just the ground, nothing more--before it turns to the slightly static silence of audio. another flash to video. and then back to audio. whoever is broadcasting this is very obviously fiddling with it, in some way. a voice cuts in mid-sentence, and the fiddling has stopped.]
-- terribly inconvenient. I believe this is how it works.
[a small pause.]
Good morning. I'll start with an introduction, I suppose. You can call me-- [a second's pause. might as well roll with the old nickname.] -- Snake.
It seems that I've been dragged into this situation with the rest of you, unfortunate as it is. And with a premise as lighthearted as this. . . [not like "appearances" are as they seem. as if he could see how johto looks, anyway.]
Well, I'd appreciate any information on the current location. Nothing about the creatures or the surroundings, however. I have a decent grasp on the mechanics. Rather, I'd prefer information on... finding an exit. Answers of "there's no exit" are welcome, too. [it'd confirm his suspicions, at least.] And if anyone's seen a pink-haired girl with a bit of energy, it'd be nice if you could inform me of that, as well.
Either way, I hope you're all finding some semblance of a silver lining to all this. [chuckle here.] Pokémon is something of a childhood dream, after all.
Best of luck to you all.
[and this is when the feed cuts off. those in new bark town can find snake at the threshold of route 29, a skitty in tow.]
