Concert/L-ville excitement
So tonight I went with my uncle and his girlfriend to see JoDee Messina and Josh Turner in concert (and by the way it was freakin AMAZING!!!)
But anyways...on our way to l-ville (on 65) we got in the middle of this high speed chase. There was seriously ten cop cars that went flying past us chasing this Saturn. Well, my uncle was trying to get out of the way and he pulls over and gets into this exit only lane and we end up in the middle of the freakin ghetto in l-ville. And let me tell you, I havent ever been to the ghetto before and I dont EVER want to go back!! There was this one guy down there who was high as a kite trying to ride his bike across the road (note he was in his early 40's) and he was falling off the bike and swerving all over the place.
When we got out of the ghetto and down to water front we got stopped at the red light to go park and ten to fifteen more cop cars come flying down the road again still trying to get this Saturn. And they all parked in front of Joes Crab Shack. Then they had the Police Chopper flying all over the place...cops on bikes swarming around..I mean this was CRAZY, and oddly exilirating.
Anyways... after we got down to the concert we sat and listened to Josh then the L-ville pipe band went on. Well when JoDee comes out she does her first song and then she starts talking. Well this person right by the stage was on the phone and she goes..."am I interupting your conversation, cause I would sure hate to do that. Seriously who comes to a concert and talks on the phone...give me that phone." So they do and she proceeds to talk to this person on the phone. She asked his name and where he was and stuff and then goes..."Sir there are sixty-thousand people here waiting on your ass to get off the phone so we can start this party!" It was hilarious...She actually ended up hanging up on the guy after a good laugh.
My uncles friends Justin and Lisa showed up and well...Lisa is a lil edgy to say the least. And she totally almost got into a fight with some people in front of us. Then after they sat down she was still standing and the guy was totally trying to look up her short. And really loudly I inform Lisa about it and called the man out.. It was do freakin funny.
