A rollercoaster if I've ever been on one - the last week.
Sadly, my birthday sucked except Chrita came to visit me and we went out with Topher and Brian. We found a new coffee house in Syracuse. It could be promising once it stops smelling like disinfectant. (it used to be a billiards club, so it pry needed it). We went to the beach to hang out. It was good times.
My parents were mildly freaking out about bombings in London when I will be there in a few weeks. That made for wonderful conversation.
I messed up again.
Tonight we (myself, topher, brian and Christa) went to dinner and a movie and then to find new friends in Ft. Wayne. Dinner was amazing, 'Dark Water' left a little to be desired though. I did jump real bad once though - I had my eyes closed 'cause something was gross and someone started screaming. The writing is far too much like the ring - lots of water, creepy little girl and mother abandonment issues. I would recommend renting it, but don't wast your $7.50 on the show. We found Aaron Baker and some crazy kids, and went to a playground, where I scrapped both knees like every little girl should. Obviously, I am too tall for the zip lines. I have blood to show for it.
Oh ya, on the way there, we went to find Oscar. Oscar is a turtle that is said to have a shell over 10 feet wide. He lives outside Churobusco. While we were standing on the side of a huge bog looking for him, and old man is a sweet car pulled up and promptly said "If you're lookin' for Oscar, you won't find 'im. He left." Turns out, this man's cousin used to own the property. He encouraged us to read the booksa nd watch the movies that have been made reguarding this legend. Then, on the way home, some guys in a sweet (sarcasm) car were flirting with us in traffic - via the car windows. The driver, in a show of manliness gave me the up head nod, continually raised his eyebrows and spit - multiple times. The passenger had a glow stick in his mouth. They were defiantely winners. Topher told them off and gave them the angry fist as we drove off.
Tomorrow is my going away/graduation/birthday party. There is so much work to do still - it makes me really anxious and not able to sleep right now. It will be many hours of socializing with family and friends. Monday is back the 4:45am shift and afternoon naps. Only a few more weeks, Praise The Lord.
I want to drive around and visit each of you. Hopefully I will make it to the wedding on Sat.
