I'm going to leave this chapter til after christmas sweets so I can concentrate on it and give it the attention it needs. It's so hard to concentrate on anything with the tv going 24/7 and driving me banana's inbetween all the fighting over what to watch etc........

I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring this chapter or anything *worries anyway*

Ah, that's okay. It's been next to impossible to get anything written in the WiP this week because of Christmas even though I thought I'd have more time to write with the whole no work thing. Who knows when I'll actually get the silly thing finished? *Sighs resignedly* Besides, this chapter has the other half of a development that I fully expect to give people headaches (or to make them angry). It and the previous chapter will probably read better after the Christmas madness is over with. *Nods*

PS - Is your icon taken from the bit in the film where Anakin goes up the turbolift, by any chance?

I should get a bit more written tonight, hopefully, since we had our Christmas Eve celebration with the immediate family early. But I won't promise anything about the chapter being done until maybe the day after Christmas, though I hope to get it done Christmas day after presents and all.

*Giggles* I thought I recognized that look. That's in one of the bits I actually like in that movie. Almost all of their interaction up until the point when Dooku knocks Obi-Wan out just amuses me to no end. They just bicker and carry on like such an old married couple! *Lol!*

They do don't they. I love that whole interration. Especially the bit about R2.

Anakin: "No more loose wire jokes."
Obi-Wan: "I didn't say anything"
Anakin: "He's trying."
Obi-Wan: "I didn't day anything".......or something like that *giggles*

If they got any closer in that scene they'd have been kissing and oh how I wish they bloody well did.

Although I do love Anakin's line "We lost something" and the look he gives Obi-Wan as the back of the Invisble Hand falls off.

I finally finsihed reading this chapter having realised I didn't have the faintest idea where they suddenly found a bed or where in the two chapters after this and hand forgotten I was going to do that.

I must say I love Obi-Wan finally taking the lead and Anakin realising that it's what Obi wants, needs to do and eventually relents and lets him *sighs* Obi is right too Anakin needs to trust that Obi knows what he wants and is capable of doing and the pleasure it can bring Anakin *faints*

"I didn't say anything!" *Lol!* One of my favorite Obi lines from the whole exchange. That and then later on the whole - Jump? Don't you mean fall? - bit before Anakin lets go and they all slide down the turboshaft. Almost all of the really good prequel lines are either from Obi-Wan or happen in conversations between Obi and Anakin. They're the prequel equivalent of Han and Leia, you know, when it comes to those lovely little zingers. And people wonder why I look on them as the OTP of the prequels. *Snorts and rolls eyes*

Obi draped across Anakin's shoulders like a human stole - I've always loved that particular image. I made Obi return the favor, on Utapau, and had all kind of fun doing it and getting them to kiss then, since they didn't get to in the turboshaft. *Grins shamelessly ( ... )
