About a decision I've made in the SW WiP . . .
I anticipate a bit of a furor or some confusion over a decision I've made in my SW WiP, regarding Anakin's twins. The truth is that since Anakin is in love with Obi-Wan in a way that he never could have even dreamt of being with Padmé, he wants any children he might ever have to be Obi-Wan's as much as they are his own. This is something that I really have no say in. Anakin feels with all his being when he experiences powerful emotions, and he loves Obi-Wan too much to tolerate any other decision but the one that has been made in part 61 of the WiP. I'm sorry if this confuses or angers people, but I just can't help it. There are some things you just don't argue with your characters over if you want them to stay your characters and this is one of them. For those who are confused, let me offer the following clarifications:
1) The twins are still the twins, no matter what they look like. Their spirits are the same. Their personalities are the same. Their memories and knowledge and skills will, understandably, be much different and will mark them much more than any changes in their physical appearances ever could.
2) For anyone who is having a hard time picturing Anakin's image of Leia, I advise you to mentally overlay the pic found here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Solo4.jpg with the image found here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Leia-visionofthefuture.jpg and then meld the results with the images of Jaina Solo that can be found at http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Jaina_19_%282%29.jpg and at http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:JainaTahiri.jpg and take the result and imagine her hair as a very dark auburn and her eyes as a blue so dark they seem black in almost all lighting, like some sapphires do.
3) For anyone having a hard time picturing Anakin's image of Luke, I advise you to mentally overlay these two images of Luke http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Luke16_%282%29.jpg http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Cvrsq_%283%29.jpg with this image of Anakin http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Anakin_Prime.jpg and then take the result and shadow it with this http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Obi-Wanoutboundflight.jpg image of Obi-Wan. Then imagine his hair the same bright shade of strawberry blond that we see on Obi-Wan in AotC. (As can be seen in this http://www.cswu.cz/obiwan/obi/ep2poz/obip219.jpg pic.)
For those who want to argue about how the twins are being tampered with, well, feel free to comment. But be aware that I doubt, somehow, that Anakin will change his mind . . .
