I think I might actually be within proverbial spitting distance of the end of this rewrite - two chapters and the epilogue or another thirty pages or so and I think that'll have done it enough to actually be complete. I'm a little surprised at how productive I managed to be, but then, to be fair, for awhile there I couldn't do much else but this, since my balance was still so screwed up from the stupid metoprolol that I was banned from the kitchen and, once that passed, for awhile there the weather was so screwy it was either too hot to bake or else too wet to bake and expect anything to actually come out at all right (people who don't believe in global warming are morons and that's just all there is to it. There's no earthyly reason for it to have been that blasted hot in NOVEMBER in this part of the world but global warming). It means I almost certainly won't get all my normal cookies made in time for the big family Christmas party, but since almost half the clan is going to be a no-show anyway due to being obligated to watch a kid's basketball game, I'm honestly just not all that fussed about it. I had more time to write, since I wasn't baking 24/7 most of November, so I got further than I thought I would with the Ahsoka rewrite. NaNo actually netted just upwards of 76,000 words from me this time around, according to the word count, so yay, me!!! If it's a slow January or we get much snow, I might even actually get to finish the blasted thing before I get distracted by something else again!
