Hmm..subtle differences
It was as if I was a deer in the head lights. The golden of the arches put me in a trance..my stomach ached..there was this gravitational pull..no I am not talking about the magnificence of the art of Dali (which I saw today by the way)...the subject of interest here is that of no other than Mc Donalds. I just had to have it here in Europe..just had to..lol I mean I tried all the other Mc Donald type restaruants in each country I have been to...I can´t remember the name of the one in Turkey, but I can tell you this they served tea and each sandwhich was cloaked in their iconic sweetened and seasamed bread. In Greece it was Everest..with their brushetta sandwhiches and kabab entrees. In Spain it is Pan (translated it means bread..there is the British Bacon sandwhich, brushetta, a chicken sandwhich doo-hickey..but non-compare to he awesomeness that is MC-e-Dees.
Here are some subtle differences between the Mc Donal´s in the U.S. and the Mc Donald´s of Spain. For starters..you cannot get a chicken Mc Nugget meal; which for all who know me, know that this greatly saddens me =( Nope you can only get chicken Mc Nuggets a la carte (yes they have n a la carte menu at Mc Donalds..lol) Let see..you can get two kinds of fries..regular fries and Patates Deluxe (which is essentialy steak fries..they are delicious!) Also, there is no self-service fountain drinks, napkins, or catsup. There was one more thing...oh yeah and the food is much less greasy. My Cousin´s husand,

who is as equally awesome as my cousin Basma, shares a great love for the golden arches. We were both like two ravenous children burgers and fries were gone in seconds..hey musuems can make you hungry. Of course Marc had to get a Mc Flurry...he always has room for Ice cream...
Lets see what else...the Dali musuem was amazing..I did not know this till today, but dali also made jewlery; albeit really crazy fucked up jewlery =) There was this once piece that was gold with pink diamonds in the shape of a heart and get this the heart beats.
What else..oh yeah! I made my cousin and her husband an authentic Americain Meal: Macaroni and cheese with hotdogs, apple sauce, and broccli. (and I also made an apple pie)..They loved it..the whole affair was quite humorous. Anyway...
