In other random aussie comments, I've decided I love the shot in Looking for Alibrandi when Matt Newton is walking away from the formal in his tux, all alone. Has anyone seen this movie? How dark is that shot? You just know what is going to happen straight away (even if you haven't read the book) and it's beautifully framed. Whenever I see that film I stumble on that scene and the bed sheets line, inexpicably moved. Dark stuff.
