mom had back surgery about 4-5 weeks ago maybe now. it seems like wednesday 1am she had a stroke. she was taken to the emergency room via ambulance, where she continued to persist in an incoherent state where she remains today. it's heart breaking and scary, the feeling of losing someone you love. what if this was the last time i got to see her? what if the last conversation that was meaningful already passed. i cant help but think these thoughts, i just wished she'd pull out of this funk nightmare she's living and come back to us.
