It lives!
My husband bought me roses for my birthday 2 weeks ago. I have been watching them, waiting for signs that they are about to start losing their petals. But no! Not my roses. 2 weeks and one day later, they are still partially in bud form, soft and looking good. However, about half of the leaves are dry and falling off. Apparently I have some type of monster roses that do not die when you cut them from their bush.
