As requested by
contend (made in ps) including a non-selective colouring version.
to
1. Prepare your base (mine didn’t need much done to it being from a photo shoot but other bases may need to be lightened significantly).
2. Make a new layer and fill it with a dark brown (2fl203). Set it to exclusion (100%)
-->
3. Make a selective colouring layer (Layer, New Adjustment Layer, Selective Colour…)
Yellows:
Cyan (-13)
Magenta (+34)
Yellow (+63)
4. Make another selective colour layer (please remember to adjust all these settings to fit your own image!)
Reds:
Magenta (+22)
Yellow (+56)
Yellows:
Yellow (-40)
5. Make a new layer and fill it with a lighter brown (c8984e) and set it to multiply (16%)
-->
6. Select the image (Ctrl+A), copy all (Ctrl+Shift+C) and paste as the top layer (Ctrl+V). Set this layer to softlight (100%). Voila!
7. As an alternate with no selective colouring try a pale pink layer (fbd3f0) set to colour burn and lower the opacity to your liking. I put mine between the other two colour layers.
