I tried on my cap and gown for the first time last night. Looking in the mirror, I saw my brother staring back at me, and it startled me somewhat. I remember him so well when he graduated: the navy gown, the gold honors stole, the green and white Bainbridge College tassel, and of course..the TCCHS golden tassel hanging from his cap. I'll match him to the T come May 21st.

It's finally starting to sink in, I think. Twenty four days and counting.

And only four more days of class. How awesome is that? :D

Starting out, I was apprehensive about taking college courses my senior year. But now, with only four days remaining, I have no regrets whatsoever. This year has been huge for me. I've changed in ways I'm only now beginning to understand. That, and I've had some really great professors to help me along the way..with the exception of Kirkland and LaFace. Snyder, Leggett, and Vanzo..I can't say enough about them. They all possess a tremendous passion for teaching, and it shows. Kirkland's a good teacher, but his fascist overtones scare me. As for LaFace, I honestly cannot stand the woman. She's a French elitist with a vapid personality with teaching skills to match. Good riddance.

But, I'm far from being out of the woods. I still need to complete my lab book and study for my lab exam tonight. They're both due tomorrow. My biology (lecture) final is Thursday and Kirkland's exam is on Friday, both of which I haven't yet studied for. Aaaand, my 5-pg. analytical review for LaFace is due on Friday as well, and I'm yet to develop a thesis. I also have to run my 12-pg. paper by Vanzo next Tuesday. I suppose it'd rather redundant to tell you I haven't started writing that paper either.

And here I am updating my journal. Yeah..so prioritizing isn't my forte.

I think it's time to get cracking.
