Consider that the terrorists here also have plans to conquer Europe, starting with the Vatican and Rome, and to utterly destroy the USA and Canada, and it stops being a "local issue" and begins to look like a worldwide disaster in the making. Speaking as a woman, I have great reason to dread such things -- life for women under Islamist rule is Hell on Earth.
