You know, when people claim that "scientists" are in a giant conspiracy of some kind to do harm to humanity, political or otherwise, I have one response: so, prove it. Prove it in court, backing up your claim with real evidence, logical arguments that have been gone over by attorneys to make sure they don't constitute libel or defamation of character, and all the rest of it. If you can't, SHUT THE !%#! UP.

Same deal when it comes to claims about industries. I am sick and tired of baseless conspiracy theories and wild rumors not backed up by anything and all the rest of it. That is neither science nor good law. It may be very entertaining to the jerks who collect and create conspiracy theories, but good journalism, justice, and real science it ain't.
