Furthermore, black Americans ("African-Americans") are more likely to have at least one white ancestory than are black Africans. Even better, since the old black American elites are for the most part from lighter-skinned families, and most of the black American political leaders come from such families, it is precisely the intellectuals and politicians pushing this theory who are the most likely to be of white descent.

Yep. I wonder how often this has been pointed out to them. I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it, but it'd be interesting to see their reactions to it.

I have very distant black slave ancestors, as well as white slave ancestors:) I am a total mix:) And I am very RAAACCIISSTTT. And I don't care. If someone wishes to act like a stereotype, they will be treated like a stereotype.
