If the damage done by Roundup, an herbicide used on genetically engineered crops, is as bad as this article says, then the US Department of Agriculture is so lax in its duty that it might as well not exist. In which case it ought to be abolished, which would save taxpayers a good chunk of change every year. We need to get rid of all such useless or even counter-productive agencies, and the USDA is an excellent case in point.
