I wish
I wish that Dr. Peter D. Ward would do for the end of the Permian Period what Bob Bakker did for the Cretaceous Period with Raptor Red: write a novel about a creature living at that time, one whose lineage survived the Permian Triassic extinction event (and please, God, let it not be a Lystrosaurus, one of the ugliest beings that ever disgraced the planet!). Maybe it would be titled "The Burrow" or something else relevant to the life of that little survivor.
