Virtual singing sensation Hatsune Miku just got very small, but more life-like than ever. Standing just five centimeters tall in an online video broadcast earlier this week, a miniaturized, apparently 3-D version of the leggy teenage pop star croons a familiar upbeat tune from a tabletop whilst showing off her dancing finesse (see above). Aside from her size, however, something else seems different. The hologram’s presence seems fuller and deeper. That’s because she has, in a way, been given another dimension.
