TV Executives Admit in Taped Interviews That Hollywood Pushes a Liberal Agenda (Exclusive Video)

In clips that will hit the Internet to promote a new book, producers including "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman and "House" creator David Shore say Hollywood discriminates against and belittles conservatives.

This has me worried. Have these producers lost their minds, revealing the worst-kept secret in Hollywood history to its adoring public, or is Hollywood now so smug and complacent that they don't care Either possibility is scary: either we're treated to the spectacle of hordes of producers turned into mindless zombies shuffling along through the countryside, stinking even worse in the noonday Sun than any of their media offerings ever have; or Hollywood's pact with extraterrestrial overlords has paid off for Hollywood better than it ever dreamed, and now producers everywhere sit in the California sunshine with their extraterrestrial buddies, knocking back margaritas as members of the public kneel at their feet, cleaning their Armani shoes with their tongues.
Seriously, this is a classic case of "Why are we not surprised?" The only real surprise here is that the producers in this interview have come out and admitted it so blatantly, as if it's no big deal. For them, it isn't. But we, the paying public, many of us with families including young children, want something better -- and Hollywood delights in giving us the finger. Why? Are their sponsors willing to float their movies and other productions no matter how few of the public show up at the box office or buy DVDs of the schlock they produce? Do they think, in spite of evidence to the contrary, that they own the American mind and soul now? You have to wonder, especially after seeing such productions as Family Guy and American Dad, both of which, frankly, stink on ice, and are so boring that after sampling a couple of them, I had to give up after halfway through each -- they were that repellant and that boring. Their former sponsors are deserting them in droves. Their audiences are turning off the set, and staying home at night rather than going to the movies. So why do they keep churning out their godawful trash? As some sort of joke targeting the American family and the American public? Only Mephistopheles knows for sure . . .
