The FBI has seized computers and other items it thinks may link a Gig Harbor man to a loose-knit group of cybervandals who have attacked websites and individuals who want to regulate sharing music and videos over the Internet.
You know, there is such a thing as conscience-driven protest of whatever kind -- and then there is sheer, unmitigated irresponsibility and stupidity. I am speaking of people who think they are above the law -- of averages, and never mind human law. You do the sort of thing that the person in that Gig Harbor home was doing, you should realize that you're running a very high risk of getting prosecuted for and sued over it by the United States government, not to mention whatever corporations and business and individuals are among the complainants. Apparently this young idiot didn't realize that. Too bad. Maybe his accomp- er, colleagues, given this example, will. But I'm not betting on it.
