Who turned Earth into a killing-bottle?

Back in the 1970s, after Apollo 17, which took place in late 1972, some unknown person or persons in the US government, almost certainly in cooperation with others in other governments, made the decision that humanity -- manned exploratory and settling operations in whatever form -- was not going back to the Moon, on to Mars, or to any other destination in the Solar System. In effect, they turned Earth into the perfect killing-bottle, putting the lid on the world to ensure that Earthly life, humanity included, would never, ever again have a chance to enable its lineages to continue after Earth, like all other living worlds, finally died.

Furthermore, ever since, groups ranging from PETA and other Greens to fundamentalist churches, "Moon Hoax" conspiracy theorists, and a host of others have, knowingly or unknowingly, done their bit to make sure that lid is on good and tight. (Put such keywords as "extraterrestrials or satanic conspiracy fundamentalists," etc. into a search-engine and see what comes up -- the results will be very instructive.) That is, the major players among the conspiracy theorists have been co-opted by a real conspiracy to help discourage people from returning to space and starting to settle the Solar System. Why? Who is behind it? What are they getting out of it? Was that decision made out of greed, or fear? That it was made and enforced is clear from the fact that a) up until then, between the jobs it created and the general stimulation of the economy it caused, the space industry in this country was responsible for creating a net surplus in government finances, b) we'd already gotten to the Moon and had developed the technology to begin settling it and going on to Mars to do the same thing, and c) public interest in such things was very high. We'd all have profited from it, from elected officials in high office and GS-17 government employees down to the lowliest day-laborer and even winos on Skid Row, thanks to the continuing stimulation of the economy brought by the space industry. And we'd already done a great deal of the research and development necessary to that effort. And it wasn't as if there weren't pressing military reasons for us to do so, either -- getting out into the Solar System would have given us an edge over the Soviet Union and China like nothing else, preventing them from getting the jump on us in space by setting up orbital platforms from which to rain Rods From God down on us any time they wanted, leaving us with no way to fight back as our cities and resources were powdered by ongoing bombardments of high-velocity kinetic energy weapons.

And yet somebody, somewhere pulled the plug on trans-Earth orbital space activities, making sure we couldn't go back to the Moon or on to Mars or anywhere else in the Solar System and beyond. Somebody made sure that all Earthly life would die with Earth, becoming utterly extinct. Because we are Earthly life's only hope for taking the rest of that life offworld and ultimately on to the stars, for its survival beyond the death of Earth and the Sun -- and they decided it was not to be. Why?

Notice that the environmentalist and animal-rights groups, of all people, are among those trying to make sure that that ban on manned space ventures is maintained forever. Nothing you can say to them will budge them from that position -- which is dedicated to murdering every last biological lineage on Earth. Surely they know that. So why are they cooperating in this? Bribes paid to their group-leaders? Threats of some kind?

Notice also that numerous other groups who have no stake in a dead Earth are also cooperating with this. (I'm not including fundamentalists, who believe that space-based activities and the idea of life beyond the Solar System, not to mention any world farther out than Saturn, are all part of a Satanic conspiracy to fool us into believing that demons are only extraterrestrials, that the universe is bigger than a light-year across and older than 7,000 years, that there is almost certainly life elsewhere in the universe, and that life can go on on Earth and elsewhere long after humanity is dead and gone. They really do believe such things. That makes it easy to co-opt them into this conspiracy -- all that has to be done is periodically go among them and stir them up into shouting out their beliefs, which certainly keeps their congregations in this conspiracy without their knowledge. Stupid bastards.)

Okay, who made that original decision, and why? Who is involved in maintaining that ban on trans-orbital space-based activities? What were they getting out of it then, or thought they were getting? And why are they continuing to do it?

You're out there, you bastards, doing your bit to render us all extinct. Proud of yourselves?

bastards, conspiracies, @!$%^&##!!?!, assholes, space
