What's wrong with AOL now?

This is the second time AOL has suddenly stopped cooperating at all with anything I've tried to do. I really don't know why. I can't access any websites from AOL -- including their own live tech support or even their Welcome screen, and when I try calling for tech support, nobody's home. The automatic system has nothing to say, of course, and if I can't talk to a live individual, I can't get any information on what's wrong. Last time there was one message in response to my attempts to reach live tech support on AOL to the effect that AOL was undergoing site maintenance or something of the sort. Tonight, though, I can't even get that far.

Does anyone have any idea why AOL is totally unresponsive tonight? I'll try to access them using the Chrome browser, which I'm doing right now, via http://www.aol.com, but it's likely nobody will be there to respond, even though they are supposed to be on call 24/7. So: does anyone know what's going on with AOL?

I'm using the Chrome browser right now. I started up AOL, minimized it, then evoked Chrome and went to LiveJournal to find out what I could this way.
