Once upon a time, when I was in my 20s, somewhere back in the Lower Proterozoic, feminism was all about equal work for equal pay and equal justice before the law. Now it's all about bullshit grandstanding, big fat empty power-trips, Berkeley psychotics, and nothing else. What the hell happened? I'll tell you: spoiled little rich-bitch debutantes took over the whole discussion and shoved out anyone with a brain and a heart. That's what happened! (Don't mind me -- I attended college at the University of California at Santa Barbara back in the late '60s and early '70s, and boy, what an education in Stupid Human Tricks I got there! I finally couldn't take Southern California any more -- moved away from there to Seattle in 1987, and have never regretted it. As for California . . . well, today it's wandering around somewhere in a strange attractor in the Inferno's Fractal Circle, looking for Mr. Goodbar. So there you are.)
