(Nov. 15) -- A new viral video answers the age-old question, "Who would win in a fight, a cat or an alligator?"
Posted to YouTube this week, footage of a brave tabby standing its ground as not one, but two alligators step out of the water and approach has caused a stir on the Internet. Filmed by a Canadian tourist on vacation in Louisiana, the clip has been viewed approximately 400,000 times so far.

Oddly, this is not the first time that footage of cats batting at alligator snouts has been posted to the Web. Here was another such encounter that appeared on YouTube in October.

Gators apparently aren't the only reptile species with whom cats like to mix it up. For instance, here's a classic 2009 clip of a tortoise-cat battle.
