I just had an interesting thought:
If the Greens get what they want, which is the elimination of all human beings from the Earth, then who's going to take care of that little problem of nuclear waste? Who's going to shut down the world's nuclear reactors safely? It won't be the Greens, all of them together don't have the education, training, experience, or brains necessary to put together a bird-house, let alone know how to deal with nuclear reactors and nuclear waste in a safe, effective way. Whether or not it's right or a good thing, the Earth needs us now, to take care of such little won't-go-away problems. Eliminate humanity and you eliminate all the safeties on countless dangerous loaded guns like that.
"Oh, we'll just make some of the other humans our slaves, and force them to clean up the planet before we kill them all," say the Greens.
Yeah, right. Honey, nuclear engineers and other engineers and scientists know a million ways to make your lives miserable for a long, long time, and if I were one of them and faced with people who had already murdered my children and were holding a gun to my head, ordering me to shut down the reactors and "clean up all that nuclear waste," you can bet I'd make them regret it. Infinitely. Lamentation and wailing wouldn't even be in it.
Whether it's right or not, good or not, the Earth needs humanity now, especially all the scientists and engineers that the Greens hate so much, because without us, especially those in that last category, conditions on Earth would deteriorate into the horrific, leading to a mass extinction that would make the current, ongoing one look like a love pat, even dwarfing the one that closed out the Permian.
If you love the Earth, don't make plans to eliminate Homo sapiens -- especially the scientists and engineers among us. If you can't forego those plans, then you must really hate the Earth.
