She's spot on: sometimes "Don't force it -- get a bigger hammer" is the only way of handling things that has a chance of working. For people who are always carrying on about "feelings," generally speaking, liberals have about as much empathy for others as a pot full of boiled potatoes -- and if they had any empathy, they'd only use it to zoom in on whatever hurts others the most and use it to target them.
