There's a huge amount of self-hatred involved in the psychology of such dedicated dangerous nuisances. One wishes that if they're that dedicated to wiping themselves and their genes out, they should just take a long walk off a short pier or something equally private. As I've said before on this blog, numerous times, humanity is Gaia's only means of reproducing, i.e., of getting a good cross-section of her life, including human life, off-planet and safely established somewhere else before life becomes impossible on Earth. Otherwise, there isn't time for another techno-savvy terrestrial lineage to evolve to the point where it would be capable of that, and if we don't fulfill that niche, that's it for all Earth's life. Bozo there, the guy featured in the two linked articles, should have figured that out a long time ago. He didn't -- or else he was deliberately out to spay Mother Earth, which makes him worse than the people he wanted to wipe out. Too bad for him. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
