Why are cats such messy eaters?
I just went into the bathroom, where my cat's water-dispenser and food dish are. There was kibble scattered all over the bathroom! It looked rather like a typical college dorm room the day after Memorial Day -- wall-to-wall mess, with no apologies. All that was missing was the hangover, and I brought that in when I came into the room and saw the mess, which gave it to me. What does he do -- like down and wallow in his furshlugginer kibble? If he were living in the wild, he'd be feeding everything else in the ecosystem. As it is, I'm worried about that ecosystem deciding to move in with us -- after all, the pickings are just great here. {sour}
